The iPad has opened up a whole new world for me. It is a
little hard on my eyes, but I guess anything that I stare at as long as I do
the apps in this tablet would cause eye fatigue. I am teaching myself to use iColorama.
I find iColorama to be a bit challenging and obscure, but
like everything else it begins to unfold with practice. I don’t think there is
a class about how to navigate it and all the filters and effects it contains. I
just try a bit of everything. Unfortunately when I like what I achieve I have
no idea how to duplicate it again! I think there is a way to record what I do,
but I haven’t tried that. I really need to if I want to understand what I did.
The piece above, "The Gift" was created from several sources to create a
collage. Different digital brushes were used to paint it and textures were
applied. Some touch ups were made in another app called Procreate.
The next item on my wish list is an iPad Pro and Apple
pencil. Mainly because of the memory and power it has over my little iPad air.
There are just so much one can do with the iPad I have, but I am not
complaining, because I love it and I just can’t justify spending so much on
another one now.
This is so beautiful, Eva. And I know what you mean about icolorama. I thought I remember Ivy and Robin saying they would do it in Paint and Pixels 2. Not sure when that's going to be yet.
ReplyDeleteA kind of funny story about how I got my iPad pro and pencil. I was parked at an antique store and a very impatient lady backed into my car. I was thinking it was only a few scratches and I would let it go but she was so unpleasant that I said let the insurance take care of it. It ended up I got a check for $1800 for two little scratches that my son and I fixed with a little touch up paint. So I decided that money fell into my lap and I immediately went out and bought the iPad pro and a pencil. I absolutely love them. So maybe if you look for an antique store parking lot and a cranky lady this might happen to you too. ;)
Thank you for stopping by and leaving such a nice comment Janet. Great story about your iPad Pro ;-) Not sure I want to risk being hit by another car as mine is so old it would be my luck to loose the whole fender!I am happy to hear you were able to get one and that you love it.
